On October 19th, Memphis Business Journal hosted its annual Small Business Awards at Renasant Convention Center, celebrating small business success stories and entrepreneurs. At the event, Pickler Wealth Advisors was announced the winner in the “small” category – an impressive group consisting of five local businesses on the rise. The evening saw a total of four categories honored – Small, Medium, Large, and Executive of the Year.

The rigorous process consisted of an application submission including a disclosure of financials, completing a questionnaire, a financial interview with Alexander Thompson Arnold CPAs (ATA), and a panel interview with judges from various industries across the Mid-South. To be eligible for the award, companies must have fewer than 350 employees and have average revenue over the past three years of at least $1 million.
This award comes on the heels of Pickler Wealth Advisors being named on Inc. magazine’s annual Inc. 5000 list in August of this year. The Inc. 5000 list is the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses.
