(COLLIERVILLE, TN) – On March 25th, 2015, David Pickler, J.D., CFP®, ChFC, and President of Pickler Wealth Advisors, was selected from over 300,000 financial advisors nationwide to the 2015 Financial Times 400 Top Advisors List. Each year, the Financial Times recognizes this group of the nation’s elite advisors from America’s national, independent, and regional broker-dealers. Financial Times uses a rigorous selection process that initially identifies 1,500 top advisor finalists prior to identifying the FT400 Top Advisors. Pickler was one of only seven advisors selected from the state of Tennessee.
Pickler celebrated the prestigious award at an event in Manhattan on Wednesday, March 25th with other honorees from the Top 400 List.
“While being recognized by Financial Times as one of the top advisors in the US is a wonderful honor, I am most proud of the opportunity to serve my clients as their trusted advisor and advocate,” said Pickler. “We believe that while it is nice to achieve success, it is far more important to be significant in the lives of the clients and communities we serve.”
Financial Times grades advisors on six broad factors and calculates a numeric score for each advisor. Areas of consideration include advisor assets under management, asset growth, years of experience, industry certification, compliance record, and online accessibility.
“On behalf of LPL, we congratulate David Pickler on being named to the Financial Times list,” said Dan Arnold, president of LPL Financial. “This honor is a reflection of the high level of service and deep commitment that David provides to his clients, which allows them to help turn life’s aspirations into financial realities.”
Pickler was also the recipient of the Barron’s Top 1,000 Advisors award in 2011 and 2012, an award based on assets under management, revenue produced for the firm, regulatory record, quality of practice and philanthropic work. He was named a Five Star Wealth Manager in 2012 and 2013, and last year was named among the“25 Who Shaped Memphis” – a list containing the most influential individuals who had a major impact on the life and times of Memphis over the past 25 years.
Serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of Pickler Wealth Advisors, an independent wealth advisory firm in Collierville, TN, Pickler is also President and Founder of The Pickler Law Firm and Pickler Accounting Advisors, and is Partner of Pickler & Bailey Financial Planning. The Pickler Law Firm and Pickler Accounting Advisors are not affiliated with LPL Financial.
