Estate Management

Estate management is the process of creating a master plan for the management of property during life and the distribution of that property at death. Tax Planning

Unplanned financial transactions can result in recurring tax fees or large tax penalties, so we take into account the potential tax consequences of the financial decisions we make together. Although financial choices are rarely made solely on their tax impact, we consider their tax implications in order to protect your assets against unnecessary depletion

Insurance Needs Analysis

People buy insurance for different reasons, so it’s no wonder that there are a variety of options from which to choose. But the differences among policies are not always clear. How do you decide between permanent and term life insurance? Which policies carry risk and which are guaranteed? And, when it’s all said and done, which policy will cost most? We are here to guide you through the confusion and select a plan that works best for you.

Family Wealth & Estate Planning

Our role in counseling multigenerational families on the transfer of wealth is twofold:

  1. To guide existing clients on the most tax-advantaged ways to pass along wealth in line with their current goals

  2. To educate the younger generations on the potential for sudden windfalls and on how to be prepared ahead of time

 

Instead of thinking of the generations as separate and distinct, we treat them as a cohesive family unit. In order to stress continuity and consistency in the family’s plan, we ask for introductions to family members early on in the client relationship when we are first made aware of family wealth-transfer issues. This offers the opportunity to forge a stronger relationship during each subsequent meeting.

Retirement Planning

Retirement planning is the process of evaluating your current financial standing and creating a strategy to help ensure that you achieve your desired retirement lifestyle. It is about matching goals with financial realities, and the focus is generally on providing a lifetime of income after your last paycheck.
