(May 20th, 2011) - Registered Rep Magazine, a resource for over 125,000 financial advisors, has selected David Pickler, CEO of Pickler Wealth Advisors as a recipient of their 31st Annual Altruism Award.

Each year, Registered Rep received nominations from financial advisors from all over the U.S. From a long list of nominations, only ten advisors receive this prestigious award. The Altruism Award is presented to advisors who are not just on top of their game professionally, but find the time and energy to make significant commitments to causes they care about.

Registered Rep states on its website that this year's award winners serve to remind us not only of the human capacity for improving our world, but also to illuminate the creative methods we use to help one another and to that end, Pickler has been focused on helping children.
