David Pickler named to NSBA board seat

(April 12, 2011) - Shelby County Schools board chairman David Pickler has been elected to a high-level seat on the Board of Directors for the National School Boards Association.

David was named the 2011-2012 Secretary-Treasurer of the National School Boards Association Board of Directors. He is on track to become President of the board for NSBA in 2013.

NSBA is a Washington-based nonprofit organization that represents board members of nearly 14,000 school districts nationwide. The vote for officers took place at NSBA's annual conference on April 9th-11th in San Francisco, CA.
