(May 20th, 2011) - Registered Rep Magazine, a resource for over 125,000 financial advisors, has selected David Pickler, CEO of Pickler Wealth Advisors as a recipient of their 31st Annual Altruism Award.
(April 12, 2011) - Shelby County Schools board chairman David Pickler has been elected to a high-level seat on the Board of Directors for the National School Boards Association.
David was named the 2011-2012 Secretary-Treasurer of the National School Boards Association Board of Directors. He is on track to become President of the board for NSBA in 2013.
(February 23rd, 2011) He has also been named among the top 1,000 financial advisors in the U.S.
(November 2, 2010) David Pickler, after withstanding a vigorous challenge to retain his Shelby County School Board seat, has been re-elected by his fellow Board members to a twelfth term as Chairman of the Shelby County School Board of Education. Pickler's tenure as leader of the 47,000 School District is one of the longest in the 143 year history of the Shelby County Schools.
